Portsea to Queenscliff reflection 22018 oil on board & easel 20 x 25 cm (painting) (easel optional)
This work comes from my residency at Police Point, Portsea, auspiced by the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery. For the public outcome of the residency, paintings that replicated beveled mirrors were installed in conjunction with the actual mirrors on field easels located across Police Point Park. The paintings record reflections of the landscape in differing weather at various times of the day. As observers walked around the park these static images were seen in conjunction with the environment reflected in real time by the mirrors.
